Licensed healing center, Denver, Colorado. License NMHC-00003. Adults 21 and over.
Yes. Under Colorado's Natural Medicine Health Act, adults 21 and older may access psilocybin at licensed healing centers with trained facilitators. The Mind Retreat holds all journeys at our licensed healing center under license NMHC-00003. Psilocybin remains federally illegal, so you cannot carry any across state lines.
Research suggests that in structured, supervised settings the physiological risk of psilocybin is low and that safety depends on screening, preparation, environment, and skilled facilitation. Every guest completes screening and a preparation session, journeys only at the licensed center, and is held by licensed facilitators who stay with you for the full five hours of each journey. The same people who prepared you on your calls are the people in the room with you. You are never left alone, and the room is never unattended.
You will not be alone. Your licensed facilitators stay with you for the full five hours of the journey and never leave the room. Difficult passages are common and often meaningful. Someone helps you breathe, feel safe, and move through it. Nothing is forced, and support is continuous.
Yes, at any time. A facilitator will accompany you to and from the bathroom to keep you safe while you are in an altered state, then give you privacy. The journey room and facilities are at the licensed healing center, arranged so your comfort and dignity are protected throughout the five hour experience.
No. You stay in the house near Wash Park with your cohort and the team throughout the retreat. Evenings are held tea and presence gatherings with no forced processing. You sleep in your assigned room, either a private room or a shared double with a matched same gender roommate, in a calm, supported home.
Yes. The program is an invitation, not an obligation. Evenings never force processing, and the rest day asks nothing of you at all. If you need to rest instead of joining an activity, that choice is always respected. Only your screening, preparation, and journeys are core.
The New Year Retreat is $3,600 for a shared room and $4,900 for a private room. This is first cohort pricing, and every guest receives the identical program regardless of room type.
Everything except your travel to Denver and travel insurance. Your seat includes lodging in the house, all meals by a private chef, all airport and center transfers by private sprinter van, licensed facilitators who stay with you for the full five hours of each journey, both journeys at the licensed center, the four call preparation sequence, the full integration and follow up program, and one month of The Microdose Membership after your retreat, a $225 value.
A $500 deposit reserves one of eight seats. You complete the reservation form and an invoice for the deposit is sent to you immediately. Once it is paid, your seat is held and we schedule a screening call to confirm the retreat is a good fit for you. This cohort confirms once four guests have reserved and completed their screening call. If we fall short, your seat moves to the next cohort with your deposit intact, or you take a full refund, your choice.
The screening call is a friendly conversation, usually about an hour, where we go through your health history, current medications, and what is drawing you to this, so we can make sure the retreat is safe for you and match you with the right facilitator on our team. Most people who complete a screening call go on to join us. If we determine a retreat is not the right fit, we will tell you and discuss your options for your deposit.
Certain medications, including some antidepressants and other psychiatric medications, and some heart conditions, can affect suitability for psilocybin. Research also flags caution for personal or family histories of certain conditions such as psychosis or bipolar disorder. We review all of this in your screening and individual preparation calls. Never stop any medication without your prescriber's guidance.
No. Colorado's program allows adults 21 and older to access psilocybin at licensed healing centers without a diagnosis, referral, or residency requirement. You do not need to be from Colorado. You complete our deposit, screening call, and preparation sequence, and journey with us at the licensed center.
Yes. Guests may come from any state. Your journey happens at our licensed Colorado healing center, which is the only legal setting for supervised psilocybin services in the program. Remember that psilocybin remains federally illegal, so you must not transport any across state lines. You travel to Denver, and everything else is arranged.
Pack comfortable, layered clothing for changing Denver weather, sleepwear, toiletries, a journal, and anything meaningful you want on your personal altar. We provide meals, journey space, eye shades, music, and all program materials. Your mailed intention workbook arrives before you travel. A full packing list is sent after your seat is confirmed.
A private sprinter van handles all airport and healing center transfers. We coordinate pickups from Denver International Airport around the cohort's arrival window and return you for departure. You do not need a rental car or rideshare. On journey days the van carries the cohort to the licensed center and returns to the house before dusk.
Your private chef cooks every meal farm to table: real ingredients, made from scratch, familiar food done exceptionally well, from the family style welcome feast to homemade soup and fresh bread after your journey. We accommodate all dietary needs gathered before arrival. On journey mornings you eat a light early breakfast before dosing, and a hearty meal follows once you return.
Shared doubles are matched by same gender, informed by a matching questionnaire you complete before travel. You then meet your roommate on a facilitated roommate video call before you travel, so you arrive already acquainted. If you prefer complete privacy, a private room is available, first come first served.
The retreat is designed as a device light experience so you can be present. You are welcome to bring your phone for travel and personal needs, and there is time to check in with loved ones, but phones are set aside during journeys, ceremonies, and held evenings. This protects the container for you and the cohort.
You complete a four call pre arrival Zoom sequence: a cohort welcome call about 21 days out, a facilitated roommate meet after the 30 day pairing, an individual facilitator preparation call 14 days out that satisfies the program's preparation requirement, and a final logistics call 7 days out. You also receive a mailed intention workbook to guide your reflection.
Integration continues after you go home. On departure day you receive polaroids, handwritten cards, and a gifted journey playlist. One week later an integration box is shipped to your door, and your facilitator calls you for a follow up. You are also invited to join our alumni circle to stay connected with your cohort and community.
Denver winters are cold and sunny, with daytime highs often mild and nights well below freezing, and snow is possible around the retreat date. The house and van are warm, and journeys happen indoors at the licensed center. Pack warm layers, a coat, and comfortable footwear. We monitor conditions and adjust transport timing as needed.
Most guests are thoughtful newcomers, not experienced psychonauts. The entire program, from your screening call through your preparation sequence to two facilitators in the room, is built to hold a first experience safely. Research describes profound, meaningful sessions among first time participants in supervised settings. You do not need any prior experience to belong here.
