Four nights in Denver. Two guided psilocybin journeys at our licensed healing center. Eight guests, one private house, and a private chef for every meal.

Journeys are held on the mornings of December 31 and January 2, with a full day of rest between them. New Year’s Eve is alcohol free by design. That evening the cohort gathers around a fire to set down what the year asked of you, and to name what you want from the one ahead.

Vivid Minds Wellness is a licensed Colorado healing center, license NMHC-00003. Adults 21 and older.

The complete program follows, hour by hour and meal by meal.

Day one

Wednesday December 30: Arrival and Opening

We meet you at the airport

Denver International, Jeppesen Terminal Level 5 near baggage claim. Recommended landing window is 9:30 to 11:30 am, because your first journey comes the next morning. The private sprinter van brings you in from the winter cold.

The cafe, and your luggage goes into storage

You arrive at the Vivid Minds Cafe above the licensed center. Luggage goes into secured storage, and a Huckleberry Bloom, or a caffeine free alternative if you would rather, goes into your hands. Your facilitators, chef and host introduce themselves. At 1:00 pm the cafe serves a light lunch.

Preparation, inside the room itself

You move downstairs into the licensed center. In the calm of the journey space, your facilitators walk the group and then each of you individually through tomorrow: intentions, fears, the music, the eye mask, the bathroom, and exactly how a difficult moment is held. Preparing inside the very room where you will journey removes the unknown.

The house

The van carries you to the house. Your name is written into your welcome, your personal altar waits in your room, and you have an hour to settle as the early winter dark comes down around 4:40 pm.

Arrival ritual, no medicine

Guided breathwork and a full sound bath. You lie warm under blankets while slow, grounding breath melts the travel out of your body, then crystal bowls, gong and chimes wash over you for the better part of an hour. No medicine tonight, deliberately, so tomorrow's journey meets you at full depth.

The welcome feast, then an early night

Real farm table food served family style, made from scratch, alcohol free, and built around every dietary need you shared before arrival. At 8:00 pm the opening intention circle gathers the cohort by the hearth, and by 9:00 the house winds down, because tomorrow matters.

Day two

Thursday December 31: Journey One, and the New Year's Eve Release Ceremony

The fasting morning

Oatmeal with honey, a banana, and mint tea, at least two hours before your dose. No dairy, and no change to your usual caffeine.

Your first five hour journey

Eye mask, curated playlist, and blankets. Your journey is held by licensed facilitators who stay with you for the full five hours. The same people who prepared you on your calls are the people in the room with you. You are never left alone, and the room is never unattended. Someone walks you to the bathroom whenever you need it, and difficult moments are met with presence, breath and steady reassurance, never abandonment.

Home before dark, and the grounding meal

Around 2:00 pm the medicine softens. By 3:15 the van is moving, home before the 4:40 sunset. The chef serves homemade chicken and vegetable soup with warm crusty bread, and a hearty vegetable version for anyone who wants it. Then you rest, nap, bathe, and let the day settle.

The release ceremony, by the fire

It opens with a chilled zero proof sparkling cider in your hand. At 8:00 you move outside, bundled in blankets beside the fire with patio heaters glowing against the roughly 20 degree night, and one by one you write what you are releasing from the closing year and give the paper to the flames.

The New Year's Eve feast, completely alcohol free

Slow roasted beef tenderloin, grilled salmon, whipped Yukon gold potatoes, green beans with crispy shallots, a winter greens salad with pears and toasted walnuts, warm rolls with butter, and a chocolate layer cake for the table. Beside it runs a zero proof bar: sparkling apple cider, a fresh berry punch, and craft root beer and cream soda on ice.

Midnight

The cohort gathers. As midnight arrives you set your intention for the year, spoken or silent, and raise a sparkling cider toast together. Warm tea after, then rest.

Day three

Friday January 1: The Full Rest Day

No alarm. No dosing. Nothing required. A late, long breakfast at 9:00, optional restorative yoga and a second sound bath at 10:30, lunch at 12:30, and an afternoon that is entirely yours: winter air, journaling, a book by the fire, or optional one on one facilitator time to begin integrating the first journey. Dinner at 5:30, an optional gentle sharing circle at 7:00, and an early night.

We built a full day between your journeys. Depth requires rest.

Day four

Saturday January 2: Journey Two

The rhythm you now know: fasting morning at 7:00, van at 8:15, and at 9:00 am your second five hour journey begins in the same held container, the same two facilitators, the same music arc, and a body and mind that arrive more open than they did three days ago. Guests consistently describe the second journey as different in character from the first, which is exactly why this retreat carries two.

Home before dusk, the grounding meal, and a held tea and presence evening with no forced processing.

Day five

Sunday January 3: Integration and Farewell

Slow wake at 7:30, breakfast at 8:00, rooms packed by 8:45 while staff loads the van. At 10:15 you leave the house, and at 10:30 the closing integration circle convenes at the Vivid Minds Cafe, off the clock, with all the time your two journeys deserve. Letters to your future selves are written and sealed for later mailing. Playlists are gifted, polaroids taken, handwritten cards given, and the alumni circle invitation extended.

The farewell meal is served at 12:30, and airport transfers run from 1:45 pm. Book flights after 3:00 pm.

One week later your integration box arrives and your facilitator calls. The year is new, and so is the ground you stand on.

A screening call is required before any seat is confirmed. It is a friendly conversation, usually about an hour, where we go through your health history, any medications, and what is drawing you to this, so we can make sure the retreat is safe for you and match you with the right facilitator on our team. Most people who complete a screening call go on to join us.

Adults 21 and over. All natural medicine is administered on site at the licensed center and cannot be taken home.
